Mission Map Video Production

It wasn’t an ideal day to shoot in SF. The rain was persistent, and dreary. But that didn’t stop us from a marathon run around the Mission District, for the Mission Map Project. Dreamt up by Georgia Rew of Pretty Pretty Collective and local artist Mike Giant, the Mission Map will be illustrated by Mike (which we’ve posted a preview of here) and include a collection of local businesses curated by both taste makers.

Despite being drenched by the end of the day, we had a really great time traversing the area. Interviews with 10 business owners were filmed at 10 respective locations, in less than 9 hours. We explored coffee shops, alley ways, and a tattoo parlor on the third floor of an unmarked building.

Here are some stills I took while Nick, Jason, and Georgia Rew were taking care of business.
