The client, MPS, had a new gallery. For its opening they had an idea: invite six designers to create an original prototype design made out of pre-existing materials from the MPS shop. The piece would be showcased in the design exhibit as part of the Gallery 1889 opening. This effort was direct collaboration between the designers and the MPS team.Agency Charlie began drafting a marketing strategy and established the foundation for the social networks to be used for outreach to their core audience of local artists and appreciators in the community. The RE/BUILD team created a WordPress blog and started Tweeting. Within a week, the exhibit was easily searchable by other local design blogs.
